What time is Check In?
Check in is 3:00pm. Guests who arrive early are not guaranteed early entry to their accommodation. You are welcome to enjoy the property while waiting until 3:00pm check in.
What time is Check out?
Check out is 10:00am. Guests are asked to vacate their accommodation promptly at the designated time yet are welcome to stay and enjoy the property.
Method of Payment
We accept, cash and Interac. Credit cards: Visa, & MasterCard. We do not accept e-transfer.
What taxes are added to my account?
All accounts subject to 13% Harmonized Sales Tax.
What is provided in the accommodations?
Our accommodations provide you with all the modern conveniences of home, including:
- Fully equipped kitchen

- Kitchen and bath towels and soaps (beach towel not provided)

What is your smoking and cannabis policy
We do not allow cigarette smoking or vaping anywhere indoors, including all of our cottages. We also do not allow smoking Cannabis/Marijuana anywhere on Pine Vista property indoors or outdoors. These policies are strictly enforced and fines are charged to anyone in violation.
What is the difference between the styles of accommodations?
Our Traditional accommodations all offer true cottage charm. These are stand alone units with kitchens, living and dining areas, air conditioning, barbeques, and a four-piece bath.
The Deluxe accommodations are both cottage and resort townhouse style. They feature larger, more modern interiors, a 4-piece bath with whirlpool bath tub, air-conditioning and barbeques. Many 3 & 4 bedroom deluxe accommodations also have an additional 3-piece bath with a shower.
Our Superior accommodations are both two bedroom second storey suites and three bedroom cottages. They are our most spacious and luxurious units. They feature full 4 piece bath with whirlpool tub, one 3 piece bath with a shower, dishwasher, air conditioning and barbeques.
Our Park Model accommodations are both two bedroom and 1 bedroom units. They are beautiful, modern units that feature vaulted ceilings, open concept kitchen/living/dining rooms, air conditioning, propane fireplaces and luxurious sunrooms. Each unit has a side deck with barbeque.
All accommodations have a beautiful view of lawns, gardens and pine trees. Most also have a great view of spectacular Stoney Lake.
What is your policy for boat rentals
Guests require a valid Pleasure Craft Operating Card and boat driving experience/proficiency in order to rent one of our 14′ Aluminum fishing boats. Guests must also complete a dockside instruction with a trained Pine Vista Staff Member at time of boat rental.
Where is the nearest town with grocery store, restaurant, and church?
The Village of Lakefield is located approximately 20 minutes from the resort.
Do you allow pets?
Guests’ pets are not allowed at Pine Vista. We do not make exceptions. However, we would be happy to recommend a local kennel.
Gratuities
We do not charge gratuities at Pine Vista Resort. If you wish to acknowledge a particular staff person for exceptional service, please do so directly to them or ask at the front desk for an envelope and you can leave it there for them.
